Weird and Wonderful

Today is the final home game of the spring for the Cubs at Sloan Park, hosting the White Sox at 1:05 pm (AZ time). The White Sox are the only team the Cubs play twice at Sloan Park this spring. It has been a fun spring, even if it was a short one.

After watching the Cubs this spring, I don’t know if the team has the capacity to challenge for the division title. However, I think they may surprise some people and be better than many expect. Especially advantageous is that the Cubs are in a division with no clear powerhouse ballclub.

This spring season along with the previous two, have been different, ok, flat out weird…2020 being shutdown half way through due to the pandemic, last year’s 2021 spring with a limited number of fans, masks, and social distancing. Then came this year’s lockout shortened camp. No matter the weirdness, on days like today as spring training is coming to a close, I get super excited about opening day!

I am also super excited about selling my Cubs collection as an NFT. Check this blog for more info. And watch this space over the next days as I show off more of the one-of-a-kind items, photos, film and video that are part of the collection. You don’t need to be crypto, or NFT savvy to bid or purchase this collection. And remember, the winner actually gets all the real world physical items, not just a jpeg, like Bored Ape NFTs. Yup, you will then own the World’s largest private multimedia collection of the Chicago Cubs!

Go Cubs!
