Cubs Pound Sox

It’s with great pleasure I’m able to use this same blog title for a second time in a week. A very enjoyable game yesterday at Sloan Park, as the Cubs blasted 4 HR’s off former teammate Jeff Samardzija. Starlin Castro, Chris Coghlan, Jorge Soler, and Anthony Rizzo hit the HR’s, pacing the Cubs to a 6-3 win over the White Sox in front of a spring training single game record crowd of 15,342. The game was briskly played at 2:27, which was a good thing, as temperatures climbed over the 90 mark in the Valley of the Sun.
