Begin Again

Much has happened with the Cubs since I last blogged, thankfully the 2006 season is history (at least for the Cubs), Dusty is gone and the Louis Victor Piniella era has started, by the way according to baseball-reference.com Piniella is a cousin to former Cub (1996) Dave Magadan. After this past year it might take some doing to get Cubbie nation excited about the upcoming season but we still have several months before pitchers and catchers arrive in Mesa, so there is time.

You never know what other changes will happen with the Cubs before pitchers and catchers report in February, but I do know we have many changes coming here on the boys of spring website before spring training arrives. We will truly be your ultimate Cubs spring training source, look for our new media section with all your daily updates (audio and video). As well as many new interactive features where you can be a part of Cubs spring training from anywhere in the world! From mid-February when pitchers and catchers report until the final spring training game is completed this will be the place for all your Cubs news and info direct from Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park in Mesa.
