We had some good fun on St. Patrick’s Day evening at Sloan Park last night, with the Cubs powering past the Padres 8-2. Kyle Hendricks got the start for the Cubs and looked solid, going 3.1 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, with 4 Ks. Willson Contreras hit a bomb in the 2nd inning, Anthony Rizzo went yard later in the 4th.
In case you missed it, I threw down a little Irish themed baseball history story yesterday. It’s trending well on the interwebs.
Enjoy John’s photos from last night’s emerald soirée at Sloan! Go Cubs!
