CubTalks, Camp, & Cuz

I’m very excited, the first episode of my new weekly Cubs documentary web series CubTalks with Tim Sheridan premiered today! These weekly webisodes will be short and sweet, usually between 2 to 7 minutes. You can find out more info about the web show on the Meet Tim page here.

The Cubs position players will have less than a week of camp to ready for the spring opener Saturday at Sloan Park. In past years that process had been as much as two weeks prior to the first game. Not to worry, many of the Cubs roster have already unofficially been working out at the Sloan facility prior to the report date. Our BOS photographer was Johnny-on-the-spot yesterday at Sloan and captured some great images.

I’ve got to give a shout out to my cousin Hallie Sheridan who is a Senior at Fergus Falls, MN High School, her hockey team is playing the first game in the Minnesota High School Hockey Tournament today… which up in those parts, is a very big deal. Hal is a team captain and plays defense, but is also one of the team’s top scorers. The local newspaper did a Q & A with her. Good luck Cuz!
