Not much in the way of excitement for the Cubs fans in Mesa today, as the North Siders lost a split-squad contest to the Indians 7-2, with 13,440 in attendance. Below is a photo of the lone highlight, a Kris Bryant 2-run HR. The Cubs had better luck in Tempe, edging the Angels 3-2 with Jorge Soler driving in the winning run in the 9th inning with a triple to the gap. As also seen (in the video) below.
