It feels weird to say, but this will be the first normal spring training in four years! Between two covid springs and the lockout last year, 2019 seems so long ago. And considering the Cubs roster in the spring of 2019, it feels like a lifetime ago.
I’m not going to wax poetic here (I’ll save the waxing for later), but it sure is great getting back to a normal spring. For now I want to share some photos of our beloved ballclub from BOS ace photog John Antonoff. Many of these photos have never been seen before and some are from prior to Pitchers and Catchers reporting.
