What an incredible game last night, a game that really seemed appropriate for this special Cubs season. The team overcoming adversity, as guru Joe talks about often. Never giving up, never accepting defeat in spite of long odds. How long were the odds? Well according to this article by Jayson Stark, before Kris Bryant stepped to the plate to lead off the ninth inning last night, teams had gone 3-824 when down by 3 runs in the eighth inning or later in postseason history. That’s – 3 wins and 824 losses! I was watching the game at a friend’s house and as the ninth inning began someone in the room said, “no worries, they (Cubs) will win it back in Chicago.” To which I quickly snapped “it’s not over yet.” And man-oh-man it wasn’t! Truly amazing.

This is the year! Be sure to get a download of our song Clear The Way and help us raise funds for the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation! The song is only $1.29 and as long as the Cubs are playing postseason baseball this year all the proceeds are going to the Rizzo Foundation! Buy and download here through SendOwl, it’s safe and secure. Rock the song every day leading up to the NLCS!

Go Cubs!
