Here are some John Antonoff photos from Monday’s Cubs split-squad 3-2 loss to the Royals at Sloan Park in front of 11,937 fans. The Cubs also lost at Talking Stick in Scottsdale to the Rockies 4-2. Losing two games on the same day doesn’t sound good, but keep in mind, spring training wins and losses have little bearing on what happens in the regular season.

Addison Russell hit his second HR of the spring, but insists he’s not trying to hit more HR’s, just seeing the ball well. The Cubs take on the Los Angeles Dodgers today at Sloan Park, game time 1:05 PM AZ time. Go Cubs!
