I’ll write more later, but I just wanted to let you see Jorge Soler’s bomb from today’s intrasquad game. Soler hit the blast in his first at-bat today against Cubs 2012 Minor League Pitcher of the Year Nick Struck. Manager Dale Sveum wanted to see the young Cuban in game action, and I bet you do too.

Soler hit it well, but have to say I wish Campana was still here with the Cubs.
Paul why do you hate the Cubs so much that you’d wish a one tool baseball player was taking up a roster spot? tony was a great to have on the team…if only he could hit, walk, not swing at crap, or throw…you know. do the things that baseball players are required to do.
Tony was a great guy. Just didn’t fit with the rebuild. As for Mr.Soler, he has baseball fans like me salivating with swings like that. I like many have high hopes for this kid, but he’s still raw as a player. I would like to see him tear the cover off the ball through the minors and get on a fast track, to the MLB
Campana who?
