One Week

Hope everyone had a great Easter, the past day and a half have been kind of a blur for me (more on that later today). The Cubs are back in action at Hohokam today against the Texas Rangers, with only one week left before opening day. Today’s game is on Comcast Sports Net and MLB TV.

Lou Piniella will finalize the pitching staff today, Wood as the closer seems a lock. The fight for rotational spots has been interesting this spring with Lieber a bit stronger overall than Marquis and Dempster. I’ll examine Lou’s choices and how the overall roster looks during this week. We have a lot going on here at CubsAZ for the final week of spring training, so check in often. I will be back after today’s game and fill you in on what happened at Hohokam as well as some other fun stuff.
