Food Drive Today

The Cubs wives are having their annual food drive at Hohokam today, so please bring nonperishable food items to the Park or make a donation. The drive benefits Mesa’s Paz De Cristo Shelter.

The first 500 fans to donate 10 non-perishable food items or $20 will have a chance to randomly select a grab bag featuring used baseballs from each of the 55 home wins of the 2008 season. Limit two per person. So, come on out to the Hohokam Park any time after 9am (game begins at 1:05pm)

Rich Harden will start on the mound for the Cubs, with Derrek Lee, Milton Bradley and Geovany Soto all expected back in today’s line-up.
