Extra innings

Well a win is a win, even if it’s not pretty, of course it’s a little sweeter when it’s extra innings against the Cardinals.

Just wanted to check in, I will be grilling dinner out on the sidewalk today as the temp is expected to hit 113 degrees, Ouch! Ok, realistically I will probably just get into the pool and try to keep cool, and to think summer in Arizona will only last about another 4 to 5 months. But not to worry because as they say, “it’s a dry heave”, er,… “heat”.

Haven’t had a chance lately to venture to Fitch Park and see how Wade Miller is progressing, if he is scheduled to pitch this week in the Rookie League I will try to sneak over and check it out. Mark Prior will be pitching in his second Minor League rehab start for class A Peoria tonight, it will be interesting to see how he is improving from his shoulder “tear”, er… I mean “strain”.
