Brewers in Mesa Today

Looks like a great day for a baseball game here in Mesa with mostly
sunny skies an expected high of 75 degrees, with winds at 5-10 mph. The
Brewers make their first of 2 spring visits to Hohokam today, Cubs Ryan
Dempster will face Brewers Claudio Vargas to start the game. Audio of today’s game is available through MLB.com, no other broadcast outlets are covering the game.

Lou Piniella is not happy with the Cubs baserunning blunders the past two games and will take corrective action. Piniella also mentioned the possibility of hitting Fukudome in the #2 spot which may be a natural fit with D-Lee in the 3 and A-Ram 4. We shall see how this plays out during March, it’s certainly very early to draw too many conclusions on what kind of MLB hitter Dome will be.
